I was imagining being a white house journalist getting the typical gibberish drumpfian response to my solid, Walter Cronkite question, and me just giving back a sigh of disappointment, staring the man in his lizardine face, and replying "blah, blah, blah; me, me, me; mine, mine, mine. Thanks for sharing...", turning away, dumping my recorder on the floor and walking away forever. Laughing joyfully all the way down the hallway and out the door.

As always you are spot on!! We need to change the rhetoric, not say a defensive word, just laugh and maybe say, "thats a good one", or laugh and say, "that sounds so late night TV". But yes laughter will anger them because they don't know how to respond. Stupid begets stupid, and all these white people are so busy trying to look brown they have good people deported or put in detention centers. Amazing how they don't like themselves so they try to be who they aren't and not true to themselves.
In my twenties, every conversation I had with my mother ended in a yelling match. Al-Anon taught me how to get a different result. When I felt myself getting angry, I'd chuckle and say, "Let's not do this.". She laughed and we continued in civil conversation. This is brilliant.
When I stumble into a "talk" with a MAGA member, I just smile and ask them if they truly believe whatever came out of their mouths. Wish them a good day and move on.

They're funny as heck. Their whole life is about rolling poop around. They look fierce, but all they do with those big pincers is make balls of poo and roll them around. If that's not a Republican, I don't know one and it's hilarious to me that they think they are so ALPHA. They're poo-flingers. That's it. That's the joke and it will never not be funny.
We should broadcast “One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest” night and day, and see if he likes that too. Maybe respond with “You’re kidding, of course, aren’t you.” As we laugh In their faces.
I had to add this because I haven’t stopped laughing since I thought of it; can you imagine if, upon seating Mr. Googly-eyes Patel, the entire chamber just broke out laughing and pointing? I mean, it’s surely a mean 12 year old style prank but isn’t that what we’re dealing with anyway? 🤣🤣🤣
It would be hilarious. And yes it is immature. Like you said, we are dealing with children. Patel, shouting the whole time during his hearing the other day, actually starting to state the alphabet. He had no answers so he started acting like preteen little girl.
Now, if I were standing within easy earshot of trumpleschnitzsky, and heard him getting lost in a two word statement, I would love to laugh in his face.
But, in such a scenario, I could not help myself and stick solely with laughing... my mouth would start before a connection to my brain cell could be established and I would quickly and easily find myself slammed to the ground, cuffed and hauled off before the firing squad or deported to Antarctica without due process.
