The primaries and elections are not that far away. How involved in them are you. I mean how much do you know about every single person who is running for office in your town, school, justice system, everyone?
This time is going so fast and yet feels so slow, especially when watching the idiocy of Trump and the justices of our country!
But we are not an easily united group even as we talk to one another here.
Use this system! Encourage everyone to use it. We all need to know the most important things in our own towns, counties, states and nationally and VOTE! And help others to vote and stand by to make sure people feel safe voting.

Those people didn't do anything wrong and they're facing life on prison away from their kids, branded as "domestic terrorists" for protesting outside an ICE concentration camp. That's why most Americans won't take the risks you're encouraging. Because a Fascist police state isn't coming- it's already here. And if you're doing life in prison, not only are you not improving the lives of those children who are incarcerated and tortured, you're adding your own children to the pile of those traumatized by family separation. I don't think telling the truth constitutes fear mongering. People need to understand the full unvarnished facts of the risks we take in opposing this regime. Do I think we need to do it anyway? Yes, of course. However, nobody is obliged to walk into the dangers telling themselves the personal consequences couldn't wind up being devastating and profoundly unjust. Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm with DeRho. We need to see civil disobedience on a massive scale. No one of course wants to go to jail, lose their job, possibly get hurt in a protest, etc. but isn't the alternative far worse?

I also think people are afraid of him declaring Marshall law then the mid terms will definitely not happen. He wants us to step over the line in the sand! I think maybe protesting at places that support him and ICE., or at Detention centers , even projected DATA centers. Maybe preventing the golf course from being renovated with tax dollars. I really do not know and am as frustrated as everyone else. Plus when DODGE went into places that had our info they supposedly added something to the computers so we can be tracked ! This is not Trump this is Miller, Voight, and all the billionaires running this. If and when we survive this they all need to be demoted and we need to figure out a way that this will never happen again. We let greed get in the way
