Don't shit where you eat, drink, breath, love.

Slow down

Walk

Bike

Don't go

Only ONE planet for us. Cherish it

Erik's asking the right questions. The kind that don't go away just because nobody wants to answer them. The data's been sitting there a long time. Patient as dirt. Somebody oughta listen.

What people don’t understand is God is science and science is God. All things created by Him, have processes that have a complete scientific background. U cannot deny one without the other. God is not “ somewhere out there”, He’s everywhere and in everything. Only humans can mess up the whole process. God’s work is perfect.

That's why Adam and Eve were thrown out of Eden.

Thank you for this article. The reasoning of planet wasting has never aligned with “the good” which is the opening sequence of the Bible. There is so much visual evidence of this “goodness” in the mysteries of the natural world. Visual evidence is always strong that this planet destruction is not participating in that good, one only needs to see and hear a clear cut to get this. Those pushing climate change denial are suppressing this kind of knowing. We of the rational era have been so brainwashed to work with every one, to make the world better through reason, we should have got off the train long ago when it became obvious that planet destruction, like gun violence against children, was acceptable.

The younger generations will pay the price for our leader's negligence.

You're absolutely right that their 1 true deity is profit & the maximization thereof. But I would suggest that their opposition to an idea of "woke" is merely a useful tool for their purposes, because as their useful toady Miller has suggested, ideally they would reduce the population of this continent to a mere few hundred thousand, via nadequate health care, unsafe working conditions, unsustaining wages, & intentional destruction of resources specifically beneficial to those deemed "underclass,"' & by extension reinstate an updated form of tech bro feudalism, biofueled by the spent bodies of that same underclass.

I understand rump is negotiating with another French Company to take payment for withdrawing wind turbine construction in the USA. This man is setting us back decades as the rest of the world builds more clean energy sources.

Knowing humanity well just emergency invest in carbon scrubbing last minute and barely push it off again and again

It seems to be the human way. Not all humans but because it's not right in front of those who have the ability to change it, they do nothing.

Not a rant, Erik. You say what needs to be said. I like the quote by Neil Degrasse Tyson (I think he said it): just because you don't believe in science doesn't mean it's not true." Something to that effect. We shouldn't have to go way out into the wilderness to see no garbage at the side of the road, or to breath clean air. One of the many many ways that we need to change our mentality.

Brother, you've outdone yourself on this one! Great article!

As for the likes of Musk and his kind, they don't believe in the very same science that has paved the way for the advancement of their own business interests...

For example:

Science = the battery

Science = the rocket

Unfortunately, while they are the biggest culprits, civilization in general will be civilization's own downfall as "man" in general is destructive to our Earth.

As a even a kid, I was actively involved in major environmental activities in the Blackstone Valley (now the aka Blackstone Valley Heritage Corridor having been dubbed a historical landmark) of Massachusetts/Rhode Island before the EPA was even founded and took root.

And, here we have the Lunatic having cut EPA funding and having completely overruled its message and its work.

It is so shameful. I mean take a look around.
