Spike strips (aka *caltrops*] for pulling across the roadway when ICE vehicles are on their way into town... as soon as the road is blocked by an ICE vehicle or two with flattened tires, a hidden conspirators pulls the spike strips into the bushes and makes their escape.
We must all consider everything that comes out of Trump 's mouth as a threat. That he is now quipping that we don't need midterm elections, this probably means there won't be any. We need to start preparing now to act without the election and what we should do to remove this disreputable regime without the election!

One thought came to mind after seeing some of the comments: I’m guessing some of the same strategies for deterring and denying entry to burglars might be helpful here. Security cameras, door reinforcements, entry sensors, third-party monitoring, yard signs indicating you have a system with 24 hr monitoring and video surveillance.
Security cameras deter people who don’t want to be caught on camera. Plus they alert you to the presence of anyone. Many new systems have AI built in to alert you automatically if a person shows up that you don’t know. Lastly, they preserve evidence.
Door reinforcements: You can buy reinforcement kits online. These are metal plates that cover the parts of your doors that are vulnerable to kick-ins. Even making sure your doors are secured to their frames with 3-inch construction screws instead of shorter screws can stop a kick-in. Burglars usually don’t enter homes through windows. I’m guessing federal agents wouldn’t try windows either (assuming they’re locked at least).
Entry sensors and third-party monitoring: These will alert you to entry so you can react accordingly, plus call the real cops to the scene.
Yard signs for a security system may deter DHS from messing with your house in the first place, as with burglars.
“Deter, Detect, Deny, Delay, Defend" are the 5 Ds of Security, a layered, "onion skin" framework for physical and cyber defense that creates multiple barriers to stop threats, providing time for response by discouraging attackers (Deter), spotting them (Detect), blocking them (Deny), slowing them (Delay), and protecting assets (Defend).
I learned this from a cop friend. In early 2025 we invested in this stuff out of concern for the direction Trump was taking things. We got our system from Eufy, which was recommended by my friend. I know others who recommended stuff from them too.
Cost: Cameras aren’t cheap. Entry sensors, yard signs, and door reinforcements are. Professional monitoring from Eufy was cheaper than I expected.
As I watched people on video being pepper sprayed in the face or directly in the eyes it occurred to me that protesters need safety glasses. They aren’t expensive and are available abundantly at Lowe’s (avoid Trump supporting Home Depot). They protect your eyes from the sides as well as the front.
I don’t have any new ideas but thought you put forth some ones. I have been sure from the beginning that this will all require that we cooperate and help each other in our neighborhoods. But I would like to make the point that I don’t think that we are as divided as they would like to make us believe. My guess is that the people who are sticking with Trump may be as low as twenty five percent or less. ICE makes it look like more because they are so violent. However, it will still take all of us to take back our freedoms.

These ideas are great because we must not be violent. Trump is trying to cause an insurrection so that he can use the insurrection act and thus cancel elections. We must not be violent or Trump wins!
I’d keep a handful of marbles and toss them on the ground as needed 🤷🏻♀️ we have to use what we have. Use film to make your windows only visible one way…out. Bright spot lights on trespassing folks with masks. Use what you have to slow down these bugs 🪳
Get a bit more off grid. Use Linux on your computers. Use encryption. But think carefully about your use of social media. What you post doesn't bring to you any more.
Find out about LoRa - of grid decentralised radio communication, it's also encrypted. Set up a neighbourhood network. I expect they grab phones. Delete stuff that might incriminate you. Give some trusted neighbours the ability to remotely factory reset your phones.

Tell the proprietors of any hotels and motels to refuse service to any ICE or Border Patrol agents or you will picket their establishments after sadists leave town and drive your customers away, because you allowed to these murdering thugs a place to stay.
Or welcome them in and serve them all spoiled chicken so they get food poisoning, and then lock them in their rooms so they cant get out, and call the community to surround the building so they have nowhere to go.
