Maintaining Outrage
It is an ongoing battle for the soul of our nation.
Speaking on outrage is the common denominator here on Substack. We have every right to feel this way. Outrage has become a way of life, especially for people that identify as empaths.
I identify as one. Maybe that is not the way I am viewed, but upon a little introspection, I believe that I fall into that category.
We feel suffering in such a way that it can be exhausting. We are tired, and at least for me, I feel beat up.
Day after day we see another moment that brings along another outrage. The absolute disdain that those in our government hold for us is abhorrent. They look at us as their peons. We work away our healthiest years trying to pay off student loans and at the same time maintain some kind of family life.
Do we play by the rules? Do we ignore our debt and eventually fall into bankruptcy? Do we sacrifice our comfort or our children's so we can make that next credit card payment on time?
We pay our taxes. We go to school. We put ourselves in debt for the future because we thought that was how we were supposed to do life. That is what generations prior to ours did, and that was the playbook. This was the path to success.
Then only to discover after waiting for the “American Dream” we are met with a brick wall. We are told to suck it up and that we didn’t work hard enough. Or “Why didn’t you put away money in savings?”
What savings?
The “American Dream” has now become a myth, and in most cases it has become a nightmare. We spend our days trying to figure out how to squeeze out our next rent payment or if privileged (like myself), mortgage payment.
Then we are told by those that are in charge to shut up and go back to work. Meanwhile, we are paid an amount that hasn't kept up with inflation since the 1970s. However, we take the menial wage or be replaced. How long can this tenuous situation be maintained?
With a psychotic regime that completely ignores the rule of law, my outrage just continues to wear me down. I don’t think I am alone in this observation.
I also think that this is the plan by those that think they are better than us. Nepo babies and people that claim to have “worked” their way to the top claim that they were just like us. This is a pervasive lie that has been perpetuated for generations.
They say this because it keeps us in line. It says if we work hard enough, one day you too can be rich and successful like me. This is a fallacy that has been pushed forever. It is nothing but a psychological trick to make sure people keep wearing themselves out until there is nothing left.
My take is that you can only push a population so far. Eventually there will be enough pressure applied that the dam will finally break. We are asked to continue to feel this outrage and to not look away.
To those of you that refuse to look away, I applaud you. We are in this together. Don’t look away; instead, look to your neighbor, your friend, or the child that depends on you to provide.
Let that be the force that drives you towards the goal. We will have our day. We will continue to resist. Bloody and battered, we must fight this absolutely disgusting failure of the regime to look out for those of us who have kept this country on its feet for almost 250 years.
We have to continue to fight not just because our tax dollars are being spent on excesses like Qatari 747s, tearing down the East Wing of the White House for a ballroom, bombing fishermen off the coast of Venezuela, gold-plating the Oval Office, taking SNAP benefits from tens of millions, tripling healthcare costs, pardoning insurrectionists, deporting millions based on skin color, and surveillance of the population because we don’t want dear leader to get offended.
And let us not forget the members of Congress that have told blatant lies to cover for DT and his involvement with sex trafficking. Every single Republican that covered for him should be brought up on charges.
Despite all of this, we still need to fight. The task is a tall order and seems incredibly difficult, but we have to continue to resist what the regime wants to be a fiefdom.
We have every right, as laid out in the constitution, to protest, to practice religion as we see fit, to have due process of law and to express ourselves as well. You have these rights, and you should not forget that.
They are ones who are wrong; they are at fault. Don’t be gaslit by their celebrity. Don’t let their flowery language fool you. What they are doing is extremely illegal. It is treason, and they must be prosecuted to the absolute fullest extent of the law.
Am I outraged? Yes. Will I continue to be outraged? Yes.
It causes me to be at a near boil day in and day out. I am sure it’s probably not beneficial for me. However, in my mind it is worth the sacrifice. If it makes for a better future, then I am here to help. I am doing the best I can with the resources I have.
I wish I had more to give. To help feed more people. To be available to do pro bono work for the people being kidnapped. And I know those of you who are reading this feel the same.
Together we will win this. And as many have now said, it is only a matter of time.
Love you guys.

Of all the atrocities this rogue administration has committed …the one shining light we have to believe will bring redemption to end this awful mess is the “Epstein Files”…
Al Capone who killed .. murdered many in cold blood was never caught or convicted for these heinous crimes.. but caught for TAX EVASION
And I believe that as many lies .. corruption and evil acts this administration has engaged in won’t be what brings them to their knees..
It will be the unraveling of the EPSTEIN FILES ..
Let’s watch .. see and revel in what I hope will be the final chapter of treasonous Trump Administration.. 👍‼️🙏‼️
SOMETHING'S GOING RIGHT, I'd say - the Epstein files are being released & I don't think that there's a WHOLE LOT that Tapeworm Trump can do about it. Take our victories where we CAN !
