"MAGA" Mike Johnson
The next in my series of unfortunate "leaders" of this country
MAGA Mike Johnson, probably the cruelest of the individuals that I have featured on my supplemental articles. That’s saying a lot considering my last one features a puppy killer but I digress.
MAGA Mike is a card carrying member of the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation). He likes to believe in things like the Seven Mountain Mandate and Christian Dominionism.
He listens to people like Paula White, who claims to hear the voice of God. She also happens to be Donnie boys spiritual advisor. So all three of them are all wrapped in their nice little theocratic bubble.
If you're not aware, the NAR is a twisted version of Christianity that believes that they should be in control of all seven “mountains” of society. The seven mountains that these heretics believe they are to dominate are family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment.
Forgive me if i’m wrong, but I would say that there seems to be it a conflict of interest when it comes to these beliefs and what our country is supposed to stand for, like freedom to do stuff that isn’t controlled by some grossly twisted version of Christianity.
So that is my little segue into where MAGA Mike comes from. Oh and he had this little trinket outside of his office door.
This is the “An Appeal to Heavan” flag that sits just outside of his office. This flag was seen commonly at the Stop the Steal rally on January 6th 2021 when thousands of idiots stormed the Capitol. So a flag flown by insurectionists sits outside the door of the person that is third in line for the presidency. How patriotic.
Mike Johnson is a religious extremist who seems to think that the Establishment Clause in the constitution is a misnomer. Johnson thinks that the separation of church and state is not really a thing. And that all political answers are in the Bible.
Unfortunately for Mr. MAGA that is not the case. There is not (at this point) a national religion. The ability to practice your own religion or none at all is established in the first amendment and it has been ruled in that fashion for more than two centuries. So Mr. Johnson please dont try to gaslight the constitution. You are welcome to your point of view but when it comes to the legality of the issue, you are dead wrong.
Honestly, I think he knows this. He wants to insert his own twisted version of Christianity into the Constitution to further confuse the public. He does this so he can manipulate his constituents into thinking that this is indeed the law. This then buys him favor in his voter base. Savvy move for a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
He’s a lawyer and a pretty smart guy. Unlike Kristi Noem who is unintentionally dumb. MAGA Mike just plays dumb on TV.
For instance, when asked if he knows who is attending Trumps crypto dinner, he said “he had no idea”. Yeah, and Elon Musk invented Tesla.
He presents himself as an “aww shucks” kind of guy. The bold, thick rimmed glasses, perfectly trimmed haircut and clean shave. And he speaks with a cadence that makes it sound like he knows what he is talking about and seems like he is always under control.
I’ve seen his type before and he is very convincing but his actions speak differently.
As an example, before the Dobbs decision was made, he was a proponent of banning abortion nationwide but suddenly changed his tone and now feels that it should be up to the individual states.
Another example is that he was one of the 147 members of congress willing to overturn the 2020 election while being supported by the house freedom caucus.
Oh, and guess who suggested Mike Johnson for the Speaker of the House. None other than Matt Gaetz. You know he’s the one who got caught messing around with minors and doing illegal drugs. Meanwhile illegally using campaign funds for who knows what. Clearly MAGA Mike is supported by the most upstanding people.
Mikey boy also supports the “best” people. People like George Santos. Remember him? He’s the disgraced congressman who just got sentenced to seven years in jail for creating fake charities and using those donations as his own little piggy bank. Mikey thought “it was a regrettable day” after voting not to expel him. Classy.
He also had the nerve to say that Social programs need to be cut, like Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare because “abortion reduced the labor force and thus damaged the economy”. I guess that if you can look smart while saying something with confidence, then it must be true. I would love to see some proof on that one.
Also Mikey Mike is a fan and pusher of covenant marriage. This guy is something else. If you dont know, covenant marriage requires that both party's must agree to dissolve the marriage if is to end. Of course this means if you are in an abusive relationship and one party decides that they do not wish to divorce then you would have no choice but to stay with an abuser. That’s some real Christian values showing through huh.
Michael Michael Motorcycle in 2018 also said that entitlement reform is his “number one priority”. Well it looks like he is pretty close to getting what he wants with that “Big Beautiful Bill”. Of course this is the bill that will strip billions of dollars out of medicaid, Medicare and Social Security and so much more. Essentially bankrupting the country and killing people who dont earn enough money. Well Big Mike was celebrating with the Republican members of congress like they got to go on a date with the President to Qatar while driving a cybertruck.
Here’s some more fun facts. Back in 2018 he did a sermon in which he blamed evolution being taught in school as one of the causes for mass shootings. That's messed up. You need to be broken in a very serious way to reason out something like that. He seems to think that since people have been a part of the evolutionary process, that people no longer think others have any inherent value. What an ignorant statement for such stand up guy(sarcasm).
That’s the real crux of the walking, breathing personification of a misnomer. Mike Johnson claims to be a Christian that also claims to be a politician that adheres to the rule of law. This law that he is following, I assume, is the constitution and here in lies the problem. This strong stance on following biblical law to the letter, by any means necessary is not sustainable. He cannot also be a strict follower of the constitution as well. There must be a certain amount of give and take. One of the goals of this country is to make this nation a pluralistic society. Having a Speaker of the House that is also a religious zealot is simply not good for anyone.
Mike Johnson is smart enough to know these things. This is what makes him so evil.
Trump, Hegseth, Noem, Bondi, MTG, Boebert? These are all people that would surprise me if they remembered to put their pants on in the morning. They are clowns. But Mike Johnson knows the ins and outs of our system and could very well be the final nail in the coffin of our democracy.
Love you all, get out there please. Postcards, protests, civil disobedience, boycott. Do whatever you can. So much is at stake. Thanks for reading,
Erik
PS. Our subject today had this to say just this morning:
"The numbers of Americans who are affected are those that are entwined in our work to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse," Johnson claimed with a straight face. The Congressional Budget Office has estimated that a whopping 8 million people will lose their coverage if the GOP's draconian bill becomes law, to which Johnson responded: "The morality of what we're doing here is precisely right and it comports with all the public opinion polls." Seems like something Jesus would DEFINITELY do.

There are alot of people in this regime who scare me but Mike Johnson with his low-key, seemingly demure manner feels evil. He is a religious zealot who does not belong in our government.
There's also that little "thing" he believes wholeheartedly -- that he is Moses incarnate. I can't even begin to understand how churchgoers look at this regime and see God at work.
