Mental health professionals have been warning the country about this Trump creature since before he even came down his escalator declaring he had something to add to the country. They warned that he was a malignant narcissist psychopath completely unfit for the position and very dangerous as any psychopath would be there.
He had the help of the morbidly rich who love to use greedy authoritarians and they made him part of their aristocratic Conservative Ideology scam they’ve been selling to the people. Trump contagion (like minded?) took over and he owns them all for now.
How dangerous he is we’re finding out, but no one mentions the warnings or consults the professionals on how to best handle a psychopath in this powerful position!
Authoritarians always pretend the people are the threat so they never have to admit they’re the ones dismantling the house. Your whole piece hits the truth modern strongmen fear most. Citizenship is not obedience, it is accountability. If the government forgets who it works for, the people are supposed to remind it. Compassion is not weakness, it is the antidote to every regime that starts fantasizing about purity. This country still has a soul, Erik. It’s just the citizens who keep refusing to surrender it.

Sorry. I “work” as a freelance writer. Emphasis on the “free.” I pay my bills by working a service industry joblet. I can only now afford to use my journalism BA from IU to write because I’ve begun receiving my SS, built up from 50 years of contributing a large chunk of every paycheck towards being able to retire. It’s not nearly enough to retire on, but at least now I’m not working a first, second & third-shift job to pay the rent & basics. The patriarchy entrenched in my little city on the Mason-Dixon Line only gave me an interview opportunity at the only large newspaper here after 30 years of applying. Further, SCOTUS should be elected not appointed, should be bipartisan, impartial, evenly distributed between parties with the one odd one being the tie breaker. They should be on term limitations.
Unfortunately, under this administration, all of our ideals seem to have gone to Hell. May God help us recover our Guiding Light and get us back on track again.
You are right! I too feel sick people with dark or brown skin are being treated differently and all it is and will ever be is skin color…nothing more. I thought I read Mr Trumps great grandparents were German…that being said, you would think he would stay clear of not wanting to behave like Hitler but I find with his principles against women as well and people of color and his performance as a President I believe he too wants to lead like Hitler. If anything , our representatives should be passing legislation regarding age restrictions for all for Presidentand ad a clause tegardinf what either political party can do to legally protect our citizens rega
It doesnt have to be a grand gesture. Volunteering, writing inspirational posts, calling on congress people. Every bit of pressure helps. Informing the public through your social platforms.

Yeah I read the "Dangerous Case of Donald Trump". I think it was from 27 experts in the field of psychology. It was incredibly unsettling.
