Joe Biden is no longer POTUS

Yesterday and over the weekend all I heard about was Jake Tappers stupid book.

Just a brief side note. Jake Tapper is just another media talking head that appears on CNN. He has taken to the airwaves to promote his ridiculous book about Joe Biden and his alleged mental decline.

I realize everyone is out there to make a buck or two (including me) but Tapper is a journalist who reports daily on CURRENT events. The last thing we need right now is to be distracted about whether or not Joe Biden was in decline during his 4 years as POTUS.

During Reagan's time as POTUS he was in cognitive decline and Republicans look to him like he was the second coming of Jesus Christ. They thought a man with admitted alzheimers disease was one of the top presidents in our history.

I am not going to waste anymore effort rehashing whether or not Joe Biden was unable to fulfill the duties of the office.

We have experienced a 180° turn in what we thought a presidency was supposed to be. Joe Biden had shown compassion and care during his presidency. He was looking out for ALL people. He helped us recover from a pandemic and we were the envy of the world when it came to stabilizing the economy after COVID's most difficult years.

Now we are experiencing cruelty on a level I never thought I would see. The malicious and vengeful actions being taken by an angry old man are now what we are experiencing. Meanwhile he is being supported by heartless billionaires and religious nutjobs.

He has been playing into the hands of our foreign adversaries. At the same time they are putting out garbage like Tapper's book or the stupid 747 from Qatar to distract us.

Now I understand the moral outrage that you feel because I feel it too. But we can’t waste our time anymore on every ridiculous tweet or whatever immoral thing comes across your phone or television. We need to focus on what is most important.

We need to expect these outrageous actions by this administration because there is no bottom for these people. We need to pay attention to the big stuff like the supreme court’s decision yesterday (8-1 by the way) to remove protected status from 350,000 Venezuelans. By the way thank you Judge Jackson for being the only Justice to dissent. How the left leaning judges, except one, thought this was the right thing to do is beyond me.

So from the bottom of my heart if you have read this far, please keep your eye on the ball. I know it’s hard to not get distracted by the constant storm of bad news. The people who are in charge are doing this on purpose. But try your best to ignore the next obnoxious tweet by the president or his idiot son. They will say anything or do anything to keep you off balance. They have all lost their moral compass long ago.

We need to stand up for the right of every person to live a free, fair, compassionate existence. We are meant to care for each other, not have this constant hate in our hearts.

Let’s not emulate the president, let’s show what compassion and empathy look like. Let’s reach out and care for the people that are less privileged than us. Let’s not be contemptuous of people who are just seeking a better life.
