Let's Not Try Everything Else
A significant quote from Winston Churchill hits home
Winston Churchill was one of the most influential men in the last 100 years and I ran across a quote that struck me,
He said: “You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else."
-Winston Churchill
Now I am assuming that he was commenting on our inability in this country to make good decisions the 1st time around, or the 2nd or 3rd…etc.
I did not delve deeply into this quote so forgive me if I lack some context.
Let's not try everything else first. We have a constitutional crisis on our hands and time is of the essence. We cannot afford to try things and wait and see if it works. We, as a country, as well as our politicians need to take decisive action now.
What the current regime is doing cannot be allowed to continue. The three branches of our government are extremely corrupt and they don't even try to hide it. For instance:
Executive Branch:
Trump and his office of house of cronies have been outright lying to the country since day one. They are trying to get rid of birthright citizenship which is written in the Constitution and has been fundamental to this country. They have exiled people to foreign prisons with no due process. Our president claims he doesn't even know if it is his duty to uphold the Constitution. He took an oath in front of the whole world to do that very thing.
This is just a few ,of the flurry of illegal things that our president has done since taking office.
Legislature:
Since the Citizens United decision was made, many of the members of Congress have been owned by corporate interests. Many of them have let their greed interfere with their decision making. Making decisions based on corporate lobbying instead of standing up for the people in their districts leads to nowhere except further harm to their constituants. This includes Republicans and Democrats. They have willingly gone along with and/or ignored what Elon Musk and his gang of school children are doing. Meanwhile, as they attempt to steal our data and close down essential programs. Most of these programs are vital to this country as well as around the world. Congress could present a bill to stop this corruption today and it would put an end to this absolute abuse of power. The problem is that many of these people also have allegiance to a mad man who has threatened them with legal, career and financial ruination.
Judicial:
Four of the nine justices we have right now have a fundamental problem. They rule based on their religious beliefs which is antithetical to the constitution. They are supposed to be the ultimate decision makers in this country. They are supposed to determine what the Constitution says without bias. These justices need to have term limits and must be investigated for bribery. The Supreme Court is supposed to rule based on objective reading of the Constitution and past precedent. Trump should never have been allowed to run for office again. There is no way to convince me that he didn't and STILL is involved in a coup to destroy our government.
The people that still have a sense of justice have to take an extreme stance and shut down any further abuse of the citizens of this country. We are on a road to disaster. We cannot wait until the Midterms.
If our representatives cannot stand up to the monstrous things this government is being allowed to do then WE THE PEOPLE need to get very serious about a general strike. The time is now. There are no guardrails being put up to stop this government from destroying our economy. Too much damage has already been done. We are going to suffer a lot from the financial ruin that has been brought on by the greed that is flowing from our country’s most important offices.
WE THE PEOPLE must stand up to this corruption. We have to form a coalition to organize in order to support one another. We need to gather financial, medical, and law experts into the fold so we can continue to support one another.
This destruction has to stop and it is up to us. Let's not try everything else, the time is now.
I love you all,
Erik
PS. Visit this site and commit to the general strike

on 01 July 2024 the supreme(?) judges ruled on Jack Smith's question. To the large majority of the u.s. population it was a no brainer until unrighteousness and corruption got in the way.
Flabbergasting 🤮
6 judicials failed us & this straw broke the Constitution. It seemed like a good question perhaps but looking back, it perhaps it shouldn't have been asked.
Also not sentencing until the end of a term is still preposterous.🤔
