How Much Power is Too Much Power?
The desire for power has no bounds
If you have ever watched any show or read any comic book, there is always the bad guy, and then there is the big bad guy pulling the strings behind the scenes.
If you have watched Star Wars everyone thinks Darth Vader is the main enemy come to find out the Emperor is actually in control.
In reality this proves to be quite similar. Everyone thinks the big bad is Donald Trump when in reality he is nothing but a sock puppet being controlled by people like Elon Musk, Vladimir Putin and Russell Vought.
The real question among those three mentioned above is who is in charge? They all have their own separate ideologies. Musk is a tech billionaire who is interested in making AI become his weapon to make him king, Putin is a power hungry madman who will do anything to destroy the United States and Vought is a Christo-fascist who wants nothing but to control the government through his skewed biblical view.
So how does this three headed monster get along? If you'll indulge with me for a moment. What is the end game here?
If we look at the distribution of power when someone wants to rule, everything must be centralized. If these three get what they want, I don't think they can coexist. There will come a point where they will never be able to come to the same agreement.
People like them have little interest in caring for other people. They don't have the capacity to feel empathy for other people. This is one of the big reasons why they have so much power. They are willing to break the rules and step on and over anyone, as well as say anything they need to in order to wrest power for themselves.
There is no ethics to what is happening. All of them are out for number one. It is easy for people to buy into what these men are doing because many people are lazy and are unable to challenge their own beliefs, so it allows access to allow themselves to hate. Fear drives people to hate because it makes them uncomfortable. If things are uncomfortable we all have a tendency to fear those things.
When a politician says things that validate someone's fear, even if they are lies, it justifies their fears which then validates a person's need to blame others who are different to blame them for things that are wrong, the result is hate.
These men are accomplishing what they set out to do, which is to stoke fear. And this manipulation pushes people who have not internally questioned and examined the motivation behind these multi billionaires results in our division.
We need everyone to think critically about our biases. We need to look to what is best for the collective good. We don't have a perfect system but I don't think it is worth throwing away for a three headed monster which will ultimately not survive because one constant is that once someone has power they continue to want more. And if they have to betray, lie, steal or any number of things. They will even if they worked together in the past.
Love you all,
Erik
