But the takeaway is that the Founders knew that 3 Equal Branches (!), was what they saw as the best way for this democracy thing to work.
For so many reasons we, as a country and populace have lost sight of the American experiment.
It has now eroded to such an extreme that those who seek Autocratic power have been enabled to make their move.
They wipe their asses with OUR Constitution, because they don't give a SHIT about it.
So many people just don't understand, or are ignorant to, or just don't fucking care.
We NEED to understand that this American Democracy is an active, engaged process. It is SO important for citizens to be educated in government and civics, constantly and consistently, throughout the educational process, so that they/we understand the tenuousness of a democracy that is not cultivated and nurtured. (The decay of our educational system is a whole other rant).
I so appreciate you bringing back the basics. It seems we all now need to revisit the original intent in order to become, what should be a given. That is to be an informed citizenry.

For the people who are zombified by what has become the maga/Nazi party, it will be very difficult to pull them back from what they think our government is supposed to be. My opinion is that they are already lost and that they will have to find their own way back. When their life conditions become untenable, they will finally see the light. The unfortunate thing, as we all know, is that at the moment, we all have to be dragged through the sludge of what is the garbage bin of what used to be and amazing democracy.
