ECONOMIC BLACKOUT FRIDAY
Don't buy anything on 2/28/25
Hello friends today is Thursday, February 27th. I'm writing this post to ask a favor and that favor is to join me in protesting tomorrow. It's the easiest protest that you've ever heard of.
It takes less than zero effort on your part and all you have to do is just boycott. You don't have to spend any money at all. That's it.
Do not spend any money. Do not stream any platform. Do not allow your devices to allow you to watch Amazon or Netflix and don't shop online either. Don't shop at Target, Walmart once again Amazon. It's just all got to be shut down.
This is the best possible thing you can do. If we can all gather together and really hit them in the wallet. If we hit them where the money comes in, that is going to be the best opportunity to get their attention. If there is no capital then there's nothing to fund their operations.
They won't be able to support their businesses and that's fine with me. They have screwed us over for too many years.
They work you to death and these workers barely have anything to show for it.
People's medical coverage is garbage and it is just about to get worse because of these tax cuts that they're trying to to implement.
They are trying to destroy social security and Medicaid and Medicare, and I think the only way to get their attention is this economic blackout. Specifically against these monstrous corporations.
That being said, if you need essentials that require you to buy life-saving treatments or what have you. Obviously that's different and if you must go shopping, shop local. We want these Mom and Pop businesses to to thrive.
So that's the favor that I'm asking for today. I think everybody is capable of doing this at least to some certain degree, barring those medical or emergency situations.
So why don't you join me and hopefully doing this will get their attention. Iff not we'll do it again and if not we'll continue until we do show them that we are not fooling around. We're not going away. We're not going to be divided because now even people who voted against their own interests are realizing that things are not getting better and in fact are getting worse.
So the best thing to do is to just not give them money. Easy! Don't go on Facebook for a day. Don't go on Amazon for a day. Don't use Instagram and let's just see what happens. Let's see if they start to realize that we're not fooling around. I'm sure not. I don't want this country turned upside down more than it already has been.
Oh and especially don't use Twitter because obviously that's Musk's platform and none of us should be using that anyway.
