Do Not Get Complacent and Continue to Resist
Canada has lit the path forward
Something excellent happened yesterday. The Canadian government led by PM Carney and originally PM Trudeau within the last couple of weeks. I will also mention Doug Ford who is the premier in Ontario Canada.
Those three had one thing in common. They resisted. They fought back with tariffs of their own. They fought back every step of the way and they embarrassed the regime that currently runs the U.S.
On Thursday PM Carney went on television and made it clear that they were going to cut all ties with the U.S. when it came to trade and sharing of intelligence.
PM Carney showed that this regime has a major weakness, and it also lights the path forward for us. For those of you who are living in this hellscape that was once called the United States, our Canadian friends to the north have showed us the way forward.
The continued threats and executive orders that our president continues to throw at us are meant to scare us into submission. But that's the whole idea. They want to scare us into complacency.
I am not saying the things that he has accomplished with this work has not resulted in awful consequences. Things like USAID and the threat of losing medicare and Medicaid and Social Security are very real but until we lose those things we have to fight back in any way that we can. Let those fears spark your resistance. Let the fact that USAID, which takes food and medical care away from people in other countries drive you in to action. If you are resisting in even the smallest way you are doing the right thing.
Some atrocious things have already happened and I understand that. But if we want to keep this country a democracy, I am calling on our leaders in the Senate and the House and any other political figure down to dog catcher to resist the orders that are being given by those that think they can just ruin our once great home.
This is not and has never been what the founding fathers envisioned when they assembled the Constitution almost 250 years ago.
We need to march, we need to be unyielding in our cause, we need to fight back. If there is a protest near you, join in. If there is a boycott of something that you find particularly egregious, join it. No one is going to call you a radical or an extremist. The only one that wants to say that is our president because he doesn't know what it is to have economic hardship. His ignorance has shown since the first time he was president. He doesn’t have an ounce of compassion. Compassion should be an absolutely essential quality of a president and he displays nothing of the sort.
Just remember he has no moral compass. He has no care for anything except for his own aggrandizement. He is a bully as proven over and over again.
So guess what Canada did? They stood up to the bully, and punched him right in the nose. Do you know what the bully did? He backed off. THIS is the model going forward. We protest, we refuse to turn away. We stay clear eyed and not let the bully scare us into submission, because that is how they think they will win. They have no answer to this type of resistance.
We will take our country back and restore the rights that people so truly deserve if we continue to fight!
Love you all,
Erik
