A Wonderful Discovery

A sudden realization

So the lines, too many to count at this point, have been stepped over by the regime from multiple angles. Immigration, foreign policy, economic self-dealing. Violating multiple laws in multiple jurisdictions, even posse comitatus, which is hard to even believe.

It has been a constant barrage of broken rules and broken promises towards allies and perceived enemies. Layer that with a big helping of age-related mental decline mixed with megalomania, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Polls prove that his actions are very unpopular and extremely reckless. He has no capability to come up with any kind of novel idea. Nothing he has done has improved our country unless you're a billionaire.

During the gradual decline of the rule of law as it applies to the president. Something amazing has happened that I don’t think DT and his ghouls have anticipated.

That amazing thing is this. Millions of people have joined hands in solidarity. We have come together and propped each other up in countless ways.

People are looking out for each other. People are delivering food and medication to those that have felt under threat. Teachers have formed human shields for students and parent pickups in front of their schools. Neighbors have stood together and blocked ICE from getting near residences that may be vulnerable.

This is happening all over the country, and we are meeting DT's lawlessness every step of the way.

Marc Elias, the ACLU, and other law firms have challenged and sued and slowed down many of the executive orders down to a crawl. And in many cases the challenges have been won in the court by the plaintiffs.

Then there are the millions of protestors getting out there despite the elements. I could not be more proud of my brothers and sisters in Minnesota fighting the good fight.

The reason people are coming out in the millions is actually very simple. We know we have the moral high ground. We are fighting for justice for people like Renee Good and the thousands who have been kidnapped and tortured by these illegal acts of aggression.

Millions are coming out because most people can tell that what is happening is wrong. If you are defending the monstrous actions of the regime, then you are either embarrassed or intellectually lazy.

As I stand here today, I think we have shown and will continue to show that most of the people in this country are the true patriots. We are the United States, not some imaginary line between masses of land.

We the people are united. We are the strength of this country. Our unity and courage combined with our righteous outrage will win the day.

I can't say what day it will be, but I feel it in my bones. We outnumber these bad actors multiple times over. There is only a small fraction of the populace now that doesn’t agree that we are on the right side of history.

They use violence and hate. We use our love and our 1st Amendment rights.

“They had guns, and we had whistles.” According to Renee Good's spouse. What an apt description. RIP Renee. And to Renee's spouse and children, never forget that you are loved.

And everyone out there with me in these dark days in the doldrums of winter, you are loved as well. Be proud, be kind. Keep showing up. If we do that, we can win.
